The Ray Rich Band is one of the most sought-after musical acts currently active in South-East England. Founded by its frontman Ray Stevens over 20 years ago, its versatility, flexibility and friendly approach has won it many friends and fans, as has the excellence of all the musicians that have played with the band over the years. Ray’s original band based its sets around popular blues and soul classics (with a pinch of good-time rock ‘n’ roll thrown in), but its ever-expanding roster of players has hugely extended its repertoire, and now the band justifiably consider themselves one of the most adept around at switching styles as the situation demands. The musicians have a wealth of studio and live experience and have worked with acts such as The Temptations, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Carrack, Cliff Richard, Level 42, Nick Heyward, Suzi Quatro and the Blues Brothers (Official Tribute Show) - and have played at many top venues in the UK. Ray is our main band organiser, along with the invaluable help of our secretary Jane. We can supply clients with almost any combination of musicians (e.g. duos, trios and larger combos) at extremely competitive prices. |
